This week, we visited the DMG MORI facilities in Pfronten (Germany) during their annual Open House—an important event to gain firsthand insight into their current approach to machinery, automation, and production processes. We would like to thank the entire DMG team, and especially Fernando Rodríguez, for their warm welcome and support throughout these days.
During the visit, we had the opportunity to see:
- Machinery in operation, from machining centers to multitasking solutions.
- Integrated automation systems and complete production cells.
- Real-world applications for demanding sectors such as aerospace, mold manufacturing, and precision industrial production.
- The Pfronten facilities themselves, where many of these 5-axis machines are manufactured and assembled.
Beyond the specific machinery, the event allowed us to understand how DMG MORI is structuring its vision of production, process integration, digitalization, and scalability—clearly aligned with a modern industrial approach, while also focusing on training new professionals.
