A. PLANT:
Our plant is located in Calle Romeu, 45, in Vigo. The plant includes industrial premises and an office block covering a total surface area of 1,100 m2.
The company is distributed over various floors:
- The first floor is taken up by the Technical Department.
- The second floor houses Administration.
- And on the ground floor and basement is the workshop. It is in the basement where the numerical control turning centres, welding equipment and stores are located.
These infrastructures give us an average production capacity of 40,000 hours per annum.
B. HUMAN RESOURCES:
The Hermanos Alfaro staff is currently made up of 28 workers, operating in the workshop, a specialized team for on site works, in the technical office and in administration.
C. MATERIAL MEANS OF PRODUCTION:
- Three C N MORI SEIKI turning centres, with feeders, plate diameter of 208 mm; axis travel through the feeder Ø 42 mm; distance between points 550 mm.
- C N TSUGAMI MORI turning centre, with feeder, plate diameter of 150 mm; axis travel through the feeder Ø 26 mm; distance between points 200 mm.
- Three parallel turning centres up to 300 mm between points; diameters up to 400 mm; gap tripping 800 mm.
- TSUGAMI-MORI SEIKI turning centre with 2 moving heads; 7,000 r.p.m., 7 fixed blades, 3 motorized heads, 7 bit holder shafts, maximum axis diameter 26 mm.
- C N MORI SEIKI machining centre; 1000 x 510 x 510.
- C.N. LAGUN milling machine; 1700x600x600 mm run; maximum acceptable weight 2,000 kg; dividing plate (4th axle)
- C.N. LAGUN milling machine; 4000x1000x1500 mm run; maximum acceptable weight 10,000 kg; dividing plate (4th axle)
- Two CME LAGUN universal milling machines; 1000x250x500 mm runs
- JARBE exterior truing machine; 200 mm x 1000 mm
